Kannapolis, NC Car Show This Weekend

Held the first Saturday every month is a HUGE car show in Kannapolis, NC. I think everyone at the M&G from Charlotte this past weekend is planning to attend but unless we all show up at 2:00 PM there is NO WAY we will be able to park together. You're lucky to find ONE spot after 15 minutes of circling if you show up after 4:00. The plus side though is that there is usually a few THOUSAND people and about 300 cars of all years makes and models in attendance.

Anyhow, just want to see who's planning to attend this otherwise I may meet up with DAT1DUDE in Huntersville again so we can do a M&G with just LX'ers.

Just wondering which one everyone is down for.

Just got up and it rained last night (as you probably already know) I plan to clean and polish the mag today for the cruise in. If you would like to meet in Huntersville first please let me know....early. Send me a PM. I will be bringing my entire family since they got excited about it when I got your post.

As for the rest of you guys. I know several of you were already planning to attend but feel free to give me a call (my number is in the Charlotte M&G Post) and I can lead you there from Huntersville or the Concord Mills area if you haven;t been to this event before.

I'll be in Pinehurst until the early afternoon so feel free to give me a call as I won't be able to check back here for awhile.

I got one word for the cruise in tonight:

CRRRROOOOOOWWWWWWDDDDDEEEEEED.

I spent an hour driving around the circle and never found a place to spot and never met up with anyone from the forum. I was really looking forward to hanging with any of the group who could make it but I doubt there was any way possible that you could park together if you could park at all.

Here's what I saw:

2 Chargers (1 might have a Daytona.)

3 Magnums (Dark Blue, White and I can;t remember the last one.)

1 Caliber (Really neat shade of Blue.)

I about **** a brick when some guys walked by my car as I was sitting in traffic and said, "Oh that's a Magnum. I thought that was the new Caliber."

Yeesh.

I'd say it was the most crowded it's been in awhile. Thousands of folks and LOTS and LOTS of cars!!

Glad you had fun! Sorry it was so crowded...

I had Trey with me today...long story, but John didn't get his occupancy certificate and he was at the office most of the day fixing what needed to be done...keep your fingers crossed that we get in next weekend!!!
