  • The Tidewater Region Antique Automobile Club of America (TRACCA) is hosting AACA Eastern National Spring Meet, May 11-13, at Camp Pendleton in Virginia Beach. The highlight is a car show show on May 13 featuring approximately 500 antique vehicles (defined as 25 years old or older). The show is open to the public at no charge. General parking will be available in east parking lot of Virginia Aquarium (formerly Virginia Marine Science) located directly across street on General Booth Boulevard. The public gate to the show field is located beside general parking lot.   • The USCG at Yorktown will be holding an OPEN CAR SHOW on Saturday, May 13, 2006. This show is open to all makes and models, vehicles, everyone! Dash Plaques for the first 200 vehicles and "TOP 100 Trophies" with 3 special awards. Food, fun, bands, beverages, BAR-B-Q cookoff and much more! Stay tuned for more info. This show will be sponsored by Peninsula Mustang Enthusiast. There will be a $10 minimum donation for registration.
