Mopar event was rescheduled from this past weekend until Saturday, November 11th. I am going to be heading down to show off MYTOYRT.

There is a Import v. Domestic event Sunday, November 5th, with a car show and losts of trophies, I will be entered into that event as well.

I'll be there with the mazdaspeed6...hoping to hit 13.5 at who knows what trap speed. Last week I ran a 14.2 at 101.5, lol, need to stop missing third gear.

Apparently there is a sexy school girl contest as well, so may intice some more people to come. And I will admit it, I am sad I'll be on the import side of things.

Where was everbody? Huge turn out and the weather was pretty good. Turned out to be a good day all around, took the hardware home. Anytime anybody is in the neighborhood of Streamview Development across from the turf farm in Waldorf call and stop on by. 301 775 7045.

Sorry, I never made it to the Import V Domestic.... Football and raking leaves took precedent....plus I told the wife I absolutely have to be down there next weekend for the 11th Mopar event.

Strykker, I live right down the road from you man.... Phil, I am in the Laurel Branch neighborhood just as you get into Charles county....off of Bensville road. We will all have to hook up sometime for BBQ and Brew.

MYTOYRT, I saw you pulling in around 9 or 10am...the car looked fantastic! I was standing against the fence in the staging lanes behind the guy taking photos for photoline...behind me was my red mazdaspeed6. If you walked over to the car show area, or even the bathrooms, you probably saw my car. I was on the end of the row, track side of the road, just before the bathrooms.

I ended up getting a migraine during the event, so I slept in my car for about 4 hours and missed out on a bunch of stuff...such as getting to walk down and say hello to you LX guys.

By time the ET runs came around though I was feeling well enough to drive and actually made it into the Fourth Round of eliminations. I was doing OK with a 13.9 dial (couldn't get a decent 60' going!) until I broke out and ran a 13.7 at 100. So, I didn't get my 13.5, but I did have the always bitter-sweet break out. At that point it was 10pm, and no one was left but about 15 cars.

I might swing down for Mopars next week to watch.

Digger..I do recall the your car now. I took time to check out the races too. There were some pretty quick runs out there...The funniest thing was seeing the mini-van make a couple passes with the baby seats in the back..(no babies though)...LOL. I'll be down Saturday too.
