    clunk parts ; )

    Hey Adam wifes Daytona has picked up the dreaded clunk. All front suspension stuff has been replaced except for the struts. What do you recommend for replacements (maybe Monroes?) Also what is the part number of the Challenger strut cushion that everyone is telling me i should replace the Charger ones with and a price on struts and the cushions please? Man i hate chasing ghosts! Ralph

    front struts- quite a few options- Pedders at $130ea, KYB GR-2's at $90ea, tokico hp strut $240ea, Monroe $120ea

    challenger front strut cushion? Not sure what you're after- the bumpstops are the same- 4895443AB and 4895444AB depending on options

    yeah, they say the new chally mounts do better than the old ones. All lx's are using them.

    hmm they the same since 07... so i guess if the car is an '06? the 2012's are different again 5181575AA

    When you say everything... does that include sway bar bushings? I've got the clunk and yesterday I ordered the Pedders Sway bushings. Should be here on Thursday for a Friday night install.

    Yes changed all the front end stuff, tension struts, sway bar links, tie rod ends. Still there as bad as ever. They say there is some new part on the Challenger that fixes some problems guys are having, an engineer spoke about it on one of the on line chats. Says the part is way better, could be the mounts/hats??? This really sucks, i hope we find it soon! Ralph

    Any more help here? Also how much are lug nuts for same Daytona? Is there an alternate source for them? Ralph

    Is this comming from a chat here with the SRT Engineers?

    Yea turned into a mess, price needed for lug nuts for the factory wheels, chrome or stainless please. Also whatever the Challenger is using for the top hat/mount on the struts. What seems to be the best option for the struts themselves??? Ralph

    teflon74 this is what u are looking for...5181575aa. I just ordered some today from the dealer..I paid ~$21 per side plus tax...It came out to $44 total. They are saying these strut mounts are far superior to the 06-10 oem.
