    Come On Aussie Come On

It seems the International section of the LXForum is a bit dormant. I just thought I would spark it up and maybe get other Aussies to drop a post here and say G'day. Member in the rest of the world are welcome too

Tell us where you are located and what your ride is?

    From Korea with Chopsticks!

Hey man, just a little north of you some. I'm thinking of coming to your island to hit the slopes for some high impact snowboarding but Ausie don't look to good = ( Guess I'll have to go to NZ. We have a spot at your field artillery school. You know where that is by chance?

Bubba, mate I can imagine that living in Korea that you would look forward to a bit of snow (hope I am not displaying my ignorance, Korea is Tropical, right??).

Sorry but no idea where the field artillery school is.

I am not into snow myself however I believe it is a bad season here in OZ this year. New Zealand is generally always good for snow from all reports.

    Thanks for saying hello.

We got snow, but not this time of year. The hills are about 1000m nothing like back in North America. I hope to come down your way, maybe during the winter, my time.

Hello -- are there any SRT8 touring's in Aussie?
I have a Magnum SRT8 and I am thinking of putting on wider rear tyres.
I'd like to get some info on the wheel arche extentions they put on your models since the tyres 295/40/20 may be a bit wide for the existing fender opening.

    thanks!

Welcome to the forum, Bernard. The 300C Touring CRD is an awesome car. Looking forward to some pics (after you get your wheels of course) of your car and the engine.

No SRT8 Tourings here yet but they are due to be released sometime in the future.

Here is a pic of the wheel arch extension.

Thank you very much for the picture.
If it is not too much trouble, could you post a pic taken from the back of the vehicle --- I am interested in how it adapts to the rear facia.

The rear facia on international tourings is different than the magnum SRT8; the international ones are more chrysler 300C like. I would like to see a pic to determine just how different they are.

    Thanks again!

Nice photo! Do you have a shot of the whole vehicle, front an back?

These extension look really nice and would be unique out our way.

Do you know if this is an add on component or a special factory install? Is this something that could be retrofitted?

Sorry for all the questions... Thanks for the help!

    Cheers!

Thanks, and no problems with the questions. Yes, the wheel arch extensions are an add on by the Austrian factory to meet the Australian Design Rules for tyre clearance to body (not explained too well there, it means ADR is strict of wheel and tyre not protuding outside the body line).

I was asked by a 300C Forums member how much they were and the price was scary, ie about A$ 500 for each "corner".

    Here are pics for you
