    What 17" wheels fit 09 Challenger R/T

I want to mount my 17" M/T ET street slicks, but can't find or don't know what wheel to use. I tried a set of Ford factory cobra rims, but the offset is causing the rim to hit the sway bar. I read here somewhere that these rims fit. Is anyone using 17"x8" wheels? I don't care what they look like and cheaper the better. I just want to run these tires. Thanks

The wheel's do touch the sway bar when jacked up but lower the car and the susp. move's it in so it clears, Try it again and lower it to check.

Really!!!?? I had it on the lift so the suspension was hanging. I'll try to jack it under the lower a-arm and try again. Thanks Slideway. This will make my day if it works!

I use 17x9 Cragar Soft 8s with a 5" back space. They clear and work
    perfectly.

I use American Racing torque Thrust M's. 17 by 9...6" backspacing. They are close to the rear sway but clear.

I am not sure what you mean by negative offset....but I think you are on track with that.

It is the amount of the rim that extends back from the mounting side of the wheel on the hub (the side you don't see).

Wheel on the left looks to be about "zero offset". Wheel on the right is "negative offset". A wheel off a front wheel drive has "positive offset". It references the mounting flange in relation to one-half the wheels width (center).

Thanks guys, I know offset. Backspace is easier to deal with, but I haven't noticed many wheel manufactures referencing backspace. They should IMHO.

The good thing about backspace is that it doesn't change with the width of the wheel.
But the horrid offset changes the backspace (which is usually the important dimension) as the width of the wheel changes.

My Enkei 18x9's with a +18mm offset has a backspace of 5.2 inches,
Yet my Enkei 17x10's with a +18 offset has a backspace of 5.7 inches.
