Prior six speeds have torque management applied on every shift, pulls timimg to save wear and tear on the the transmission. No, you can't tune it off with the predator. The high rear end ratio forces you to shift one extra time. The predator tune reduced my 1/8th mile time by .6, other mods have it down another .5, Looking for another .1 tomorrow as expected temps will be in the 50-60's.Yesterday in 59*, DA of -207,I ran a 5.1 0-60,.4 better than my previous best and that was letting it spin like crazy, didn't even try my normal launch routine of brake torquinng at 1200 rpm which consistantly gets me 2.0 60s at the track. SRT Engineers Round Table: 9/21/2011 Go to post 37 shows severe retarding of timng on each shift. I chose an auto for different reasons.I have chronic bursitis in my right shoulder and have had two surgeries on my left knee. Not conducive to power shifting a stick.Bought a 2010 because I couldn't find a 2011 last Feb.Pure luck that I ended up with a 2010 that could use the predator. The $5000 discount was nice too.

Great video, really feels like I am drivingIt sure does lay down on you in 4th gear, still though, I bet you could trim your time by a couple tenths stock.

I'm sure the car has more in it than that. Given some more miles, and a few more times at the track, you'll probably get better times.
Surely a 6 speed, with more power and a little less weight is more than 2/10th's quicker than my stock Magnum.

A 180 stat will help.Don't run your AC they frown on that, but turn on your front defroster, the fan will run and you'll run 20 degrees cooler.I do it while I'm in the staging lanes even with the predator you can heat soakAlso after I clear tech, I park it and raise the hood, for 20-30 minutes. It's like a blast furnace under there.I figured that out when all my 1st passes were my slowest. Not anymore...
Yes, I was dissapointed in myself I couldn't get a 2.0 60', I will get it next time out. How good are the factory clutches?
I will break in a little. I just ran a 13.59 @ 102.4 with 2.013 60' with DA at about 1000' . That's in a 2011 RT with an Automatic. Unfortunately there are no tuners for the 2011 do to a hard to crack roling code. I would love to add a 180° stat but without a programmer to adjust the fan turn on points lower I don't think it will do a ton.

My dad said he was looking into supercharger/procharger kits and I told him the tune was going to be an issue for a while. I guess he is looking at one for his Camaro now because of the tuning issues.
I had a chance to take out a 2011 RT classic with the 6 speed last night (thinking about trading maggie in) and even the girlfriend commented after giving it a full throttle blast through the first 4 gears that the car didn't have nearly the power that my almost stock 5.7 magnum RT has, (I'm running a CAI and a borla cat back with a mild tune) the car seamed to have no torque at all.... it was still cool as hell to drive though! I WANT ONE BAD!! lol
