Looks like a cool restomod on that '71 there. which is probably better, then you don't have to be nervous driving a $250,000+ car around.

Hey Ben he's on a challenger forum and he's from Hawaii. The Cuda is a restomod really laid out.

As I lay rubber down the street, I pray for traction I may keep, and if I do begin to slide, please dear God protect my ride! - Amen!!!!

Awesome video!! I got to follow a yellow 71 hemi convertible Cuda W/ billboards a month or so ago with my challenger, for about 20 miles. That was fun, and we were getting a ton of looks from folks along the way. I don’t know who the guy is, but I have seen him a couple times since then. The 71 looks like it is a survivor, and not a restored car. It’s not perfect but it looks to be in pretty good shape and really clean.

seriously nicely done video. good to see people taking the time to produce good video these days rather than raw camera phone $hit.

OMG, that is the car I've always wanted. My first car was a '71 Barracuda Grand Sport Coupe (ie, 318 bare bones). I was like the fourth owner. It was pretty much a rust bucket, but I loved her dearly. That car got me into Mopars. I wanted to make a street car out of that '71 but it was too far gone and I was but a broke a$$ 16 yr old. I always dreamed of having a numbers matching '71 Hemi `Cuda convertable. Very, very rare. I've seen all kinds of '71 Cudas in person, but never a Hemi convertable. Being that when I was 16 (that was eons ago), there were only 16 known to still exist, it's no surprise that I've never seen one in person.

Yeah.. Sorry all mine are unedited. I don't even own a computer. I was impressed with the cars and the editing-that's why I posted it.

just noticed while looking through the youtube comments page that the owners reply to the question: "I noticed that the cuda says srt8(well it was kinda easy to notice because you focused right into it) why does it say that? does it have a 6.1"

Owner: Thanks! Yes, my '71 Cuda has a 6.1 SRT8 engine in it. Believe it or not, because of the weight difference, the Cuda moves just about as fast as the hallenger with the S/C installed!

    haha!
