Spotted V6 Challenger SE at local Dealer *PICS*

Rolled into my local dealer Wednesday and they have a black V6 SE on the corner of the lot. 18" wheels. Cloth interior, single exit exhaust with only one cutout. Nice seats though. Same as the SRT just cloth. It was just over 24K and they were only asking full sticker. No markup.

even tho I think its wrong to sell a car with that name and history with a V6, I know its the only way they will make money and sell more.

I kinda agree. That's what I liked about our SRT Charger because it actually looked different than the hundreds of other Chargers on the road. The Challengers will all look the same at first glance.

Wow me likes!! First challenger I ever seen was in silver at the local dealer...SRT of course. If anyones driven an LX with the 3.5 you know its no slouch, but no race winner either. I like the idea of these nostalgia cars with smaller engines. Its for folks like me who want a nice car but the biggest ballsiest engine available isnt financially in reach, so we step down a couple notches and still get a sweet looking ride. Even in V6 trim its still a kick ass looking car. Remember back in "tha day" not all the original challengers had big v8`s, alot had the leaning tower of power slant-6. Now I wonder if v6 challengers will get the manual trans option like the srt has.....

Brush up on your history. The original Dodge Challenger came with a 6 cylinder model as well. See link below. So, its not any different than it was in 1970-1974.

HaHa, so you don't remember the "Foreign" Challenger from 1978 to 1983 with 2 different 4 cylinders either. I remember them, but I am a few years older than you.

It is a sweet car .... they should take advantage of issuing a V6 and having them all over the road........I hope I see them everyday like Mustangs.
