SEIBON OEM Carbon Fiber Hood Installed

Took the T/A hood off tell I get the SMS Blower and am gonna run this one for daily driving plus it has the sprayers in it and winter is on us.
The fitment was great, quality is real nice as well, the CF weave is straight and looks killer. Not very fond of the mesh that comes in the vents but thats a easy fix. Enjoy the pic's.

Chris that hood looks very good. The tuner shop I hang around just installed a few of the Seibon hoods on the 08/09 Subies they got in, very very nice fit.

There is a need consealed hoodpin kit on one of them, the only draw back was they use mild seal screws in the kit that will rust. The other things is they need to redesign the retainer so you dont have screws or rivits poking up from a smooth hood.

I agree, and when I get time Ill drill this hood to, Cam had some badass rivits that went into the other hood that had threads in them, Then I used SS screws, they sit flush. Problem on the Challenger is the cross member or support that has the hood bumpers in it is kinda far back, preferably I would move the pins forward on the hood, but this would need custom brackets as the headlights are right there. You'd have to brace/bridge across the top of the headlights to do that. Just time/effort/money, Right now Im moving slowly. Besides theres a blower thats supposed to show up soon.

As far as Quality and fit its a 9 out of 10, the underside is flat black, has a Seibon logo and is ready for the under hood cover to snap right in.

Looks great. Seibon make some decent kit, I used to have one on my S2000, although I painted over the CF on that though.
