Hey Trojan, glad you like the hood! It should look familiar, it's a recreation of the factory T/A style hood necessary for our Sam Posey G5 Challenger in order to make the new Challenger look just like the old one. In order for us to properly recreate a T/A style hood, we started with the factory SRT hood, we had to remove the twin R/T style scoops, and widened the 2 lengthwise hood character lines. We then tooled our own G5 flat style hood with the wider character lines and blended our T/A-style scoop onto our composite hood. It was a lot of work but worth it in the end so that we will be able to offer flat style hoods with no scoops, T/A-style hoods, and also shaker style hoods. After SEMA we have atleast 2 more hood styles being prototyped and tooled along with our own carbon fiber hood.
If you're at SEMA please stop by to meet Sam Posey wednesday and thursday. Please keep in mind that $1000 from the sale of every Sam Posey Edition G5 Challenger is donated to the Parkinson's Research Foundation By Group 5 Ltd.

The Sam Posey Challenger has a gloss black mask spray painted roof just like the original car, so it's not vinyl.

The front wheels are 19x9.5 and the rears are 19x11. I'll get you the offsets from Chris.
We went down to a 19" wheel diameter because there just isn't any race rubber offered in a 20" tire that is available or would work with the Challenger. The new Version of the Sam Posey car was designed to have the Grand Am Cup/Koni Challenge "Look". The New Mustang, Camaro, and Challengers will all be raced on 18" wheels. If you look at the #6 Camaro Concept in the Chevrolet booth from SEMA is was taken even further towards a full race ready car. We didn't want to put 18's on the Chally since I really think it's gonna look too small. However, turn key Sam Posey Edition Challengers will be offered with a 20" Fikse wheel and street tire option for those who just want to prowl the streets!
