    Project: Painted Door Sills

Ordered and picked up my new door sills for the Chally, and had a friend over hang out with whilst i installed them. I was just about to peel back the nifty 3M tape when he suggested looking into painting the "Challenger" word stamped into them. So after debating if i have the time myself to try and do so, I decided it would be best for now to take em somewhere and get them done. Thanks OnTheRock08, great referral. Im going to take them in tomorrow and have the words painted the same Hemi Orange. I will post pictures of before and after when they are completed.

    You mean like this?

It took about 30 minutes for each coat of paint, then over night for paint to dry, then about another 30-40 minutes to trim excess paint from the sills. There are 2 coats of paint.

Awesome! I dropped them off today to have them done. I dont have time myself to do them. Been busy on the weekends with a "To Do" list, car shows, and now getting ready for promotion exam time. Studying hard to make E-6. I can't wait to get them back though, and will still post after pictures then. Im guessing if your interested, you already know what the plain stock door sills look like out of the box.
