Anyone sucessfully programed an additional key fob to a Challenger with a keyless "enter & go" system?
Normally you use the two existing to program more however the new Challengers don't have a key to insert into the dash since its a proximity key fob.
Is there a new method to add a key fob?
Thanks in advance

you can pop the push button out and insert the key as if you didnt have keyless go.
with that said i dont know if the procedure to add a key is the same like earlier lx's
to get the button out, what i did while my key fobs battery was low (car couldnt see it), id take the valet key out of the key fob and use it to pry the push button out, it just pops out without much force.
valet key

Stuff a pony's hood with one of the multi-throat-carbureted monster motors, and it could fog the landscape with testosterone and tire smoke
On my car that key is only used to open the door if the battery dies.
I do not have a key hole in the dash to turn on the car.
Additional FOBIK keys (2008 and up) can only be added/programmed by dealer. 05-07 LX Bladed key FOBS can be added/programmed without dealer, as long as you have the two original FOBS.

I tried with our '11 caravan, but ended up having the dealer do it.

No no what I'm saying is use the valet key to pry the push button out and u can insert ur key fob into the dash to start the car etc.
The push button just pops out and allows the square front part of the key fob to be inserted like a normal key. Its how the cars without keyless go start their car

As I said earlier. That is correct.
Now, if you have a starscan, or starmobile you could do it yourself.

I figured it out.
you can program up to 4 keys. 8 on police units. SKIM, SKREEM, or FOBIK keys can be done by the customer, but the keyless go portion will require the dealership, as a "PEM replacement" procedure must be done.
the new 2011 keys used on the charger, 300 and journey require a dealership trip though.
Yeah, but we're not talking about the Passive entry module (PEM)
Police vehicle or not, makes no difference. ALL FOBIK equipped vehicles can have up to 8. Again, FOBIK's CANNOT be programmed by the customer. I know it says so in the manual- that is because Chrysler forgot to make proper amendments. Only 2005-2007 LXs can be programmed by the customer. That is the older style bladed FOB.
actually, the OP said they had a button. which means they have a PEM. so yes we are talking about keyless go.
