Phoney R/T Hood Scoop "Plugs" Gotta Go

My first mod is to rid my R/T of their phoney SE and R/T hood scoop "plugs".
Before delivery of my Challenger R/T's arrival I ordered the SRT hood scoop inserts.
Now my R/T has "functional" hood scoops.

    That's good!!
Too bad. It doesn't quite reach the wiper motors. Maybe with an extention.

Another token pic of my Challenger.

Yeah, seriously. I couldn't believe it when the salesman pointed out the scoop was fake. Why bother having the underhood plumbing if the hood is plugged? It's like the free auto-headlight mod. If all the cars have the ability for auto-lights, why not make it standard? Some of the things Chrysler does are a mystery to me.

    Vent replacement

How hard was this? I have a black R/T and dont want to damage my hood. Any additional wind noise? How much and where for the vents?

I was amazed when watching the Top Gear episode with the Challenger when they said the hood scoops were non-functional! Do they actually work on the SRT's?

That's pretty dumb that they don't work on ALL the Challengers!
