Very good times! I'm impressed.
Nice, do you plan on any more mods?
Good job, you should definitely hit mid 11's on the juice, Lisa ran 11.6 with the 125 shot and D/R's.

Thanks guys. I plan on more mods, but first I want to spray it. I was having to really nurse this thing out for the first few feet and was afraid to spray. This weekend should be a little warmer so I will hopefully get a chance to spray it. I am going to try a 100 horse to start.
great times man.
can you explain what your diy intake mod was all about
Sure. I cut off the air resonator just before the bend to the throttle body for starters. I made a patch to cover the hole. It dont look bad at all.
Then I use a K&N drop in filter and opened up the bottom of the air box as much as possible. I left the side facing the motor in tact to avoid pulling in hot air. But the side facing the core support and fender I cut wide open. I cut about 75% of the bottom out of the lower air box.
Then the hole in the car that the air box rests on is blocked from underneath by a plastic under carriage sheild. I removed it and cut away the portion so cold air can actually enter from the bottom as the car is moving. One the chassis dyno this setup made exactly the same power as no filter assembly at all.
Obviously by my trap speeds it is getting plenty of air and it only cost me $45 for the filter. Plus it looks stock. My main goal is 11's and looking stock.
