    MOPAR T-Handle shifter

I'm looking through the 09 Challenger booklet I got recently from the dealer and I notice on the last page inside the back cover that there is a MOPAR T-Handle shifter supposedly available. Where would one get this handle and will it fit in a Charger??

Why would you want a T-handle for an automatic? I can see using it for a 6-speed Challenger but not for an auto. Of course this point of view is only from the functional perspective. If you like it becasue it looks good as a mod, go for it.

I used to have a T-handle in my '72 `Cuda w/auto.. (it came that way from the factory)
    It had a 3sp "slap-stick" automatic,
that was so while I was street racing I would shift the gears manually, and no matter
how hard I hit it, it would not go past the next gear..

I kinda doubt that Dodge has blessed us with a slap-stick in the Challenger.. :(
(So, yeah, then it would be for looks..)

Oh, it's definitely for the looks. I was just wondering if/when it would be available. Thanks for the input.

Just go to Billet Technology. They have pistol grip, t-handle, and ball shifters all custom made for the LX. They can make any color or engrave anything you want, and they're available now.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize BT had T-handles.

T handles are nice, but I think their more practical for Manual trans aplications I had one on the vertical gate shifter in my 73 Cuda. I think the Pistol grips Pappa John makes are awesome, and look and feel so much like the Hurst pistol grips that came in the 70s mopars!

the T handle that BT makes looks nice but it kinda reminds me of the tool the ancient Egyptians used to remove the brains of people they mummified?
What you like in your car is what matters to you, right?
