Looked at the Challenger yesterday!!!

I went to Airport Chrysler in Orlando yesterday to pick up my severe duty I radiator and took a look at the two Challengers they had in stock. One was red with the stripes and one was orange. Both were automatic RTs. I sat down in the red one. I loved the seat. It curves around your body. I wish my Magnum had seats like that. Other than the seats, it felt much like the Magnum. The back seat appears to be almost large enough to seat two adults. The exterior is so beautiful! It looks so similar to the original Challenger only better. The red one was stickered at $36k and the orange was $34k. I didn't ask what it would take to buy. It has the same drive train as my Mag except the rear is a 3.08. The wheels are the same size. Tires are Michilen 235/55x18, the same size I put on my car. Just a different body. I loved the car!

Oh, I'd love to have it. But, I'm too close to retirement to be spending that much on a car. I did look at a black RT today when I stopped by the local dealer to buy their super special anti-freeze in preparation to change out my radiator. It had the 20" chrome wheels and leather interior. Actually, I prefer the cloth interior and the 18" aluminum wheels like my Mag.

Also, it made me appreciate my Mag more because I go it for only 22,990 out the door as a "new" leftover in July 06. They both have basically the same drive train.

I've got to stop looking.
