Information on transmission "limp mode"???

OK, so I'm out a couple of days ago just playin' in the RT. I floored it from a rolling start where I was already doing about 30mph. All of a sudden There was a hard jolt (I was looking in the rear view for my drive shaft) and it wouldn't do but about 20mph. I pulled it in a parking lot, shut it off for a minute and cranked it up and it ran just fine. The check engine light was on for a while but went off before I could get home and hook up my Predator to check for DTC's. There were no DTC's stored. Any ideas what happened and if I need to check anything else besides the DTC's?

This problem has come up several times. I think it's one of those things that happen with the fly by wire throttle, and the transmission. If you have no codes and your tuner didn't pick up any codes, you should be OK. I would take a look under the car for any leaks and look under the hood. Just in case.
