i'm ok with the rear...knew it was gonna change. could have been worse.
If the car was perfect then we wouldnt want to be modding it ,right?

Makers of the "Original Honeycomb" & "True SRT" grilles for your SE,SXT or RT. Custom made grilles for your SRT Magnum also.
but why put the reverse light in the middle of the 4 foot long brake light?
Only way you can fix that is tent the whole thing, or buy a big ass aftermarket taillight.
i wonder how the trunk opens...meaning, does part of the brake/backup lights go with the trunk, or is the liftover height going to be really really high?
The whole rear got ugly, they narrowed it down and brought down the flare on top so now it looks like somebody just flattened out any other car...
I DRINK ROYAL PURPLE! WHAT NOW?!

I hope its one of those cars, that look better in person.
I kind of don't not like it!
Have to see a square on rear shot!
Where are the tips!
Somebody get on the ball and make some tips!
i do think the aftermarket will be all over this car
I remember them talking about that in an article about the concept. My bet is the trunk lid dips and the seams are those fat vertical black lines you seperating the inner and out brake lights. Kinda like the trunk lids on mid 90's buicks
Or....
The trunk lid does have a high liftover and that is why they smooshed the backend down in order to meet some sort of federal spec or regulation.

I only see a slight difference...the tail section on the production car is squared off where it meets the bumper top and they had to pull the tail down more than on the concept...probably because the bumper is to high on the concept to meet fed regs... they had to incorporate some type of reverse light into the rear...I think where they put it is very similar to the 1970 version...IMO the transition from concept dream to production reality was stellar...Unlike the Camaro, which GM was going to build before the concept was introduced, the Challenger was strictly a styling exercise based on the LX platform... it wasn't designed to be a production car, and many hurdles had to be crossed before it could be...all this done in 2 years and for the price... I say awesome job!
Currently: "Vanessa" 2006 Charger R/T with all kinds of little details and a unique red bee stripe... just passed 100k milestone!!!
so easy to fix that just use your imagination!!!!!!!! all i see is blacked out!!!!!
I still don't think it looks as bad as everyone is saying...
Id still drive it...
I think there is a big lot of "I can crap on this car more than you" going on. This is the same type of comments that occurred before the Charger was released and I suspect some of the same posters.
