How's the reach-a-round workin' out for ya?

You know, to get to the back of the "Challenger" name plate on the grille to remove it?

(best thread title of the day)

I want to remove the name plate, but haven't yet looked to see how it is done. Can I just open the hood and reach around to the back of the grille, or do I have to do something else?

You caught me off guard with the way you asked that question lol. No you can remove it from the front, if you look closely you can see the tabs pull them up gently or they will break pretty easy. I took my emblems off and had them painted to match my car, it's really easy.

I think I just yanked mine off (but they were taken off very shortly after I got my Challenger - too long ago for my feeble memory).

Just pull it straight off. There are two clips on the back. It is plastic so use two hands so it doesn't break, and it can be put back on if you wish.

Popped it right off and I could not be happier.

Although I already expect to hear "Hey man... what kind of car is that" very soon because of it

I took mine off right away, too.

I get "Hey, nice Mustang!" way too often.

I just smile and say, "Thanks.".
