Finally a dry day

So after three days of rain since I picked up my SRT8 6-speed I was getting a little frustrated. It was sunny yesterday and but I drove around nicely all day........ but I was really late for work this morning.....
140mph on the highway was effortless but I didn't want to push my luck.

I did, however, take off from a stand-still, took first to about 4500rpm (probably about 35-40mph), powershifted second, the ass end broke loose for a second or two and slid over about two feet, kept spinning, recovered beautifully and I was gone.

GOD, I LOVE THIS CAR

I painfully switched cars and put it in the garage until friday.

Just thought I'd share.

Have you driven any other (Auto) SRT's? I'd sure like to hear how they compare...

So up to 140mph in conn. is not pushing your luck?

I remember going through a radar "trap"in conn they had 3 mustangs and 2 Grand nationals a "chase cars" but that wasn't yesterday,1989 i think.

LOL, yeah, I guess....wasn't in CT though, it was on 684 in NY...they have a couple of stangs and quite a few Z-28s. I got pulled over by a mazda 6 in mass once.

No I have not driven in a SRT auto, or any other SRT for that matter.
