Engine missing at wide open throttle

Anyone elses car feel like its missing or sputter under wide open throttle about 3-4k rpm? Whenever I floor it whether its in 1st or 2nd sometimes it sputters a little bit before it goes. I think it may be the traction control? Not sure. All I use is premium 93 octane gas.
No check engine lights. No mods.

    Any ideas?

Yep. Most likely traction control. That cute little "ESP" button in front of the shifter is your best friend!

Yah I figured it was the ESP button, it really limits the motor. I do notice that it wont do it when I have the ESP off.

hmmm....i'm getting this as well...granted i have a V6....but i get a bit of the same missing between 50-60mph while cruising. i was worried it's my torque converter or maybe a clogged cat (had a cat go bad on my 99 Dakota R/T with only 10,000 miles on it)

i'll try driving tonight with the ESP off.....we'll see if that makes a difference

Oh, I was gonna bring my car into the dealer sometime soon for this problem. I was on the parkway today and was at about 30-40 in traffic and saw and opening and went to go WOT and the car kinda sputtered then kicked in and was fine for the rest of the day. Then I hope it's related but I was driving the other day and went from third to forth but when it shifted it felt there was no power going through the engine then kicked back in after 2 seconds or so.. kinda worrying me.

Definately the ESP... Just hit the little button! Make sure you turn that bugger off when someone wants to "see what its got".. Make sure 5-0 isn't around as well...
