    Question Different coolant in the challenger????

    has ne1 else noticed in the production images that the coolant is now yellow???? is dodge switching to a different mixture?

    The coolant we use is Yellow it's a zero PH coolant and can mix with either green or orange coolant. It's good stuff too I use it in my 1000 horsepower Roadrunner with no cooling problems.

    That's weird. My coolant dosn't look like that. Does it change color after the car has some miles on it? Or does my car have the wrong stuff in it?

    Yeah the guy next to me was in a 69 Barracuda and I couldn't let him leave on me but what I didn't realize was he was on a 10.50 dial in and I was on a 9.50 dial in. So I got antzy and left

    I believe that Zerex G-05. It comes in a pale yellow and shown in the pic above. It's just like the chrysler orange stuff the only difference is the die color added. Zerex is also the maker of the chrysler coolant.

    I see thay changed the air cleaner from the concept, are the hood scoops working are not??????????????????

    No the hood scoops do not feed into the intake (yet wait till the modders are done) but they feed cold air into the engine and reduce underhood temps like the srt8 scoop.

    that production challenger is still a prototype. who knows what they will use. i betting the coolant will be the same on all 2008 srts.

    I just saw the production cars at the auto show and I saw orange coolant in the black and silver cars with their hoods up so I would bet that was a photo of the prototype.
