correct oil filter for SE???

does anyone know the correct Mopar oil filter for the '09 challenger SE? the dealers book say #04884899AB and the owners manual says the same. but that is the large filter and the motor has a small filter on it now?

both the 339 and 899 fit on that engine, i think i did see another chally with that filter on it, but i suppose if u wanted the bigger filter on for peace of mind, u could do it

04892339AA is the filter specified for your challenger.
04884899AB and 04892339AA are interchangeable.
04884899AB is just a larger capacity version of 04892339AA.
they usually use 04892339AA for room restrictions but they also went to the smaller filter for caravans, which have plenty of room for the larger filter, so who knows their thinking on this one.
for '09, 2.7L LX and for '10, 2.7L & 3.5L LX have switched to 04892339AA.
personally, i'd be using the largest filter that'll fit.

you wouldn't think that you could just swap in the larger filter when your car came with the little one. but they interchange.
