So...when I shift normal I have a "nibble" going into 2nd...when I shift fast I get a grind. So when I took it to have it looked at, the tech called "STAR" and they replied that its normal....WHAT!
No way that this is "NORMAL"....any one else have this issue and if so what to do?
Thank you in advance.....Keith

This is he same transmission in ss camaros and the mustang gt500....and the viper....no one reports this kind of problem, and i definitely don't have this problem with my 2012 challenger rt. This is not normal. Tremec doesn't make bad transmissions.

Only when the transmission is cold do I get the nibble. After a few minutes it goes away. I have read other have the same. But no grind unless I screw it up.
Try another shop.

the trans needs a basic rebuild with just the synchros needing to replaced and the pads on the shift forks replaced. bearings are probably fine.
