    Challnger SRT8

I drove a black Challenger SRT8 yesterday and man i fell in love with it and almost pulled the trigger but decided to wait on the 6spd to compare the 2 but guys/gals i cannot stop thinking about it even though it's basically a 2dr Charger . Also the chally exhaust sounds better then a stock Charger exhaust i wonder why eitherway it had a nice lil rumble to it. $44.300 fully loaded 09 auto .......

Drive wise though... how did it differ? Did it feel much different to your Charger SRT8?

Haven't driven the auto but I am having a freakin BLAST with my 6-speed. I slammed 3rd gear at 50mph and spun the car around (esp off, obviously)
Getting on the highway in a rush and you're spinning 2nd w/o even trying.
I know that's not neccessarily what one wants but it has been only 3 weeks (only driving the car on weekends) and I'm still just having FUN!
If you're not a really good driver, you'll probably have a better 1/4 mile time with an auto just because it's alot easier to get the car to hook up when just stomping on it and steering it in a stiaght line. But if you know how to drive the standard, DAMN it is fun.

One thing about it RT is that with either the manual or auto you have a classic SRT. Not sure how many more they will build. Hopefully the 2010's will bring some pleasant surprizes.
On another note, how do you like the true LSD ?

OOOOH, Limited Slip Differential!! Yeah, well, what could you not love about that? I do get a little "bump" when reversing with the wheels cut all the way (backing out of my driveway)...At first I could'nt think what it might be but then it reminded me a little of an old 4WD truck on dry pavement but nowhere near that violent. Ya think that's what it is?

5.5 seconds for 0 to 60 is kind of slow. I have an 08 and did 0 to 60 in 5.14 wtih traction control on. With practise, I plan on getting it in the 4.9 second range.

I know but you just can't get it to not spin....so you have to weigh fun against how often you're going to race the car
