    Challenger Up Close!

    About 10 members of the NJCG went to Whiskey Café car show last night in Lydhurst, NJ just a few miles from Manhattan. About 6PM a NY TIMES AUTO REPORTER pulls into the show with a new Challenger with Manufacture plates. He is doing a review of car and was out getting feedback. Needless to say he stopped the show because everyone there converged on the car. I happened to be at my Dodge Dealer in the morning and the GM told me that Dodge is working on a performance package for the 6.1 SRT Challenger that will include headers, catback and so on to get more HP out the 6.1. He also said there are no plains for a 6.4. They are going to beef up the HP of the 6.1 and add the performance package. Whether this is all true or just his speculation I don't know but said it's so.

    Didn't the concept have different seats? I remember ols style full leather pleated seats. Still cool though.

    That baby seat is awesome!!!

    BTW - Not a big deal but that shifter plate is FUGLY. I hope they come with the little tray on the side.

    ugh, the dash around the gauges...

    does not float my boat....at all!!!!
    '06 300SRT8; Flowmaster 40s w/reso delete. To-do: 1) high flow cats 2) cam swap 3) Torque convertor 4) valve body- done. Why?---Deep in the 12s & still streetable!!
