    Challenger R/T 6-speed MPG

After two tank fulls of 93 octane gas I am averaging 17.0 mpg.
    Some is stop and go.
    Some highway.
    Some "break-in" aggressive acceleration.

My daily commute is 12 miles of 45mph stop lights, for the first 1000 miles my average is around 13.5. Went up to 15.1 today after spending 60 miles on a interstate.

I think the 6.1L gets way worse fuel economy for the first couple thousand of miles or so. So, I'd wait a while before deciding if that is the normal number.

With the third fillup I'm getting 17.1 mpg.

Just took a round trip of 660 highway miles, about 140 of those miles were not on interstate highways (small towns about every 20 miles). I got 25.1 mpg.

It's that aggressive breaking in driving. Fun goes up , mileage goes down! If you play, you gotta pay. I can burn a quarter of a tank and a bottle of nitrous at the dragstrip, probably 1 mpg! Takes 2 days to get the grin off my face , though.
