    Challenger already axed...

    you heard it here first... 2008 SRT's with the 6.1 Auto... and 2009 SRT's with the 6.4 manual...


    and that's it..... NO 2010 models...

    Talk about short lived but I'd rather have it go out with dignity as opposed to having Chrysler put out V-6 versions to meet CAFE standards like GM is doing with the Camaro.

    Axed.....2010.....as in they won't make the engine in the Chally the same size, or the whole Challenger project is cancelled?

    Hum... seems like alot of work to rework a platform from a year or 2 just to make a 2 door hotrod and then axe it.... Methinks this may be a production car like the plymouth prowler, made in very short supply just to keep the price up there for a few years.

    Already , at this rumor, the markup went up another $10K. Forget about touching the 09.

    The car will not recoup what you'll have to pay for it for at least 35 to 40 years.
