i know that the challanger has been released and alot are just waiting for theirs etc ..

but what will be available the R/T or the Srt8 .. and what are the engines i hear alot of ppl saying that the r/t will have a 6.1 and the srt a 6.4 ... can someone resolve this issue ??

or just break down the info for us that dont know what right ..

SRT8 will be available for 08 with 6.1 and Auto trans.

08: SRT8 only. 6.1 mated to the 5 speed autostick.

09:

R/T with 5.7 (higher output than current) and choice of 5 speed autostick or 6 speed manual.

SRT8 Same as 08.

Rumors of LATE 09 or early 2010 getting the 6.4 in a "T/A" like package, but not substantiated yet. Also rumors of a convertible R/T which is very likely because Chevy plans a convertible Camaro early on.
