5.7 Hemi Mopar cold air intake

Ok, so I just installed the Mopar cold air intake. I have a bump in the road. The instructions tell em to leave the old IAT sensor in place. Later it tells me to insert the IAT sensor into the new intake tubing grommet. Where does this IAT sensor come from? Do i remove just the sensor, or the entire unit from the old unit? What gives here?

After typing this, I did lube the grommet and find a way to get the old one in there, up to the blue O ring. Let me know if this is correct...Thanks,
    Mike

You remove the sensor from the old unit, install the grommet, then slide the sensor into the grommet, then connect the plug to the sensor
