08/09 Challenger dates

I was at the Calgary auto show last night and talked to a rep about the challenger. She said the Canadian pricing would be anounced April 15th, and that the orders for the 2009s would open that day too. She claims the 09s will arrive in showrooms in June!

Interestingly, the Challenger they had on display was a 6.1 6 speed! It looked production ready too (Check out the tag on the glovebox).

Saw that same car at the Edmonton Auto Show in the end of February. Couldn't get up to it so see inside, thats awesome that its a 6 speed, thats my future car.

Supposedly the 09's will be available only about a month after the 08's hit.

So the wait should not be too long to see the 6 speeds.

That sounds about right. The 08's should arrive in May and the 09s in June.

Sorry to say this but the guy that was there let the cat out bag. It may have said 6.1 on the outside of the car but it has only a 3.5 under the hood. it's only a display model. He did say that the floor vibrates when thay start her up. either way this a nice car.

The interior is similar to the 2008 LX's. It's nice.

The 3.5's will only have a 4 speed auto like the Chargers do. For now anyways.
