    V6 GAS Mileage

I know the v6 3.5 charger is rated at 19 city 27 highway, but what are you REALLY getting? The HEMI is only rated 2 mpg less, but is that what you rellay get? How much difference is the insurance?

I'm still trying to decide which one to buy.

    2.7L V6

High city has been 21 mpg and low has been 16 mpg, but it was driving styles.

Best highway was 27 mpg and low was 23 mpg, however low was cause by using gas with 10% ethonal which drops my MPG's and driving 75 to 80 mph.

Doing another road trip this weekend (Hammer Fest) and will do a MPG check and report back.

i get really ****ty mileage with a 2.7 v6 mag. i usually get 17 city and 21 highway. i do a lot of highway driving, but i usually end up with roughly 300-310 miles a tank. which in my opinion is really bad since i was getting 400 a tank when i bought it 6 months ago.

SXT here, I normally get 18-20 in the city and 24-28 highway.

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

    Talking V6 Gas Milage

When I got my SXT 2 months ago I was getting 24 mpg combined city/hwy now I'm getting about 21. I am driving more aggressively now. I thought my Magnaflow single exhaust would help, but I always seem to put my foot into it at least once each tank full! I can't resist the sweet sound of the exhaust and increased power.

Try some of the Chevron Techron and it may help, I try to use it at least once a year to maybe as often as every 3 months depending on driving habits. I just had a 450 mile tank, but it wasn't all highway (about 30 minutes of heavy traffic in Nashville) and the highway driving was 75 to 80 mph (by GPS) and some heavy throttle was used a few times. But I'm also running Mobil 1 0w-40 oil with the Mobil 1 synthetic oil filter and that helps a little with mpg's over a non synthetic oil.

I just went through my first tank, and the gas mileage was about 19.5 mpg .... but I also was pretty heavy on the gas pedal my first few days. This tank I have been taking it easier. I also ran some Lucas Oil fuel treatment in this tank, had heard good things about it and used it before.

I have a 2.7 and after adding the CIA along with a power distributor I have been getting 30 plus per gallon. This is when I am on the Hwy with the cruise set at 80mph.

It's a voltage system that distributes power to needed esentials while driving. At cruise it regulates as needed. I have been looking for another one and will get specifics along with Pics and brand name today. It works fairly well and gets me another couple of miles per gallon. It does make the lights stobe just a little when working but not so much that it's a bother unless I have the sterio realy loud. Then it's kinda cool as the lights will strobe with my woofer due to power distribution.

    I think it's the CIA....

I've got a cumulative average of 21.2 MPG with my 3.5L SXT.
