Truely, Is the 2.7 SE magnum worth looking at?

See question above. Is it really worth it?

    sure

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

It depends on your needs. If you just want a good reliable ride and don't care about having tons of power then yes. I came from a 4 banger Chevy Tracker. Any V6 is better than that.

I test drove an SE. It had more power than I expected but it's no Hemi either. Test drive it yourself before you decide.
It's hard to find a 6 cylinder car that seats 5 that's not fugly or a POS. The Magnum is it, SE or otherwise.

Get the 3.5 or you'll be kicking yourself. The 2.7 is the choice for my employer's fleet in the U.S. and everyone who drives one, complains about feeling at risk when needing to make a pass. The 3.5 will give you the grunt to take care of business.

ultimitly it is your descion, but they are beautiful cars and have enough engine to move them. My 2nd car is a ford escort, and i don't even notice a power difference , lets face it when your just cruiseing the engine dont matter. I know some people are addicted to power (me included) but the 2.7is a great car.

Personally , I think that the big 6 is the better choice.
If I was doing a LOT of long distance driving and had to sweat the gas.. the 2.7 is great. Otherwise..
Get the car that makes you feel the best!

Well, gas is kinda the point of my mom trading her van, so she was looking at the magnum SE, because she cant afford the SXT. Doesent Zoomers make a dual exhaust setup for the V6 magnums? An intake and JEt chip would help some too, right.

To me, I would get the R/T, but thats if i had the money. I will Be driving the SE too, so I would like to have a little fun. Well, i go to test a SE tomorrow....dont have to worry about snow.....we have no snow in Hawaii!

ah, they have a double for the 3.5 charger... I believe it bolts up the same as the charger because its the same platform......The double would be the same for the 2.7, right?

I saw a 10k SE on ebay located in HI....High bid was $10,100....I think HI is a good place to find a used Magnum, i.e., former rental.....The SE is probably fine for youir roads. Just use OLD NAVY's advice about oil....Do a search.

I have an se and its perfect for daily use.. you can get on the freeway with out feeling like your going to get run over even with the 1000lbs of add ons I have.

They do have a double exhaust for the 2.7 I believe its the hemi exhaust system with a slight modification... But honestly from what I have heard going with the double exhaust on either v6 cuts power because its breathing to freely so I would recomend the single

Oil....what is this about Oil.........well, from what I heard, the Zoomers gave some people a LOT of power when they installed it.

    Oil!!! Did someone say oil???.

What is generally changed is the torque and HP peak, either up or down, when a exhuast mod is made. I would assume (remember what that word spell's) that the torque & HP curve would move down down the rpm scale.

But what do I know, I'm just an old retired Squid.
