Isn't there a trans cooler right in front of our rad? Or is that part of the A/C?

Have you ever ran hard before. I mean like you and some buddys going on a road trip and all of you our riping the roads up. Then you notice that your shifting is lagging now. Thats because your trans fluid is hot. Your shifts aren't as crisp. You mite have had to hit your brakes real quick a couple of times then get back in it again. Every time you get out of it, your trans down shift. Then as soon as you get back in it it has to shift again at a higher rpm cause now you are back in it. A oil cooler helps everything in your motor run alittle smoother on a hot day to.
