For those who have put dual exhaust on a V6

Any recommendations or suggestions on cutting out the driver's side lower bumper to accomodate the extra exhaust? All input is appreciated.

Just make a template of the right side with cardboard and tape. Then reverse it and tape it on the left side. Use a dremel tool to cut the shape with the template as a guide. It will take you 20 minutes tops.

My exhaust guy did what MoonDoggie lays out for making the template, but actually just used a box knife to open.

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

My exhuast guy just took some measurements from the right side and then cut the left side. Then I painted the cut edge with touch-up paint. You can't even tell unless you look under the car.

I did it just like Moondoggie. Very easy to do. Even a caveman can do it.

the muffler shop did mine, didn't even charge me the labour, just to install the borla/mopar exhaust setup, you can't tell wether we cut out the bumper or not. Thinking about removing the res.on the borla thsi weekend and trying it out.
