Does anyone know if superchips is gonna put out a version of thier tuner for the V6 LX models too ( 2.7 included) I figure since it's the same electronics, it could work....( maybe yield more power than the JET chip)

Don't mean to be nasty or anything, but don't expect too much gains for the V6.
I know that 6's can run when properly tuned, I have owned some 6's that screamed, but it will cost money verses a V8.
Nothing beats cubic inches.

Like they say "There's no replacement, for displacement." But I would still like to see this for our cars. I emailed superchips a few months back about if they were going to be making one for the v6 and they told me to contact them again in a few months.
I can add it to the list of questions here:

i believe they used to pull 450hp out of the prowler. same engine...

From what I've heard and read... They are all different and will be released in this order: 5.7, then 6.1, and then the V6
5.7 due out February 15... but delays are common in this type of release.

Well, it is a fact that more cubic inches allows for more power. However, our factory V6 is capable of more torque and horsepower than currently advertised. We can untap more horsepower from our V6s, but mod for mod, a V8 does have more potential.
I know that a v8 is capable of more overall power than a v6, but I think that mod for mod the power increase PERCENTAGE WISE will be roughly the same.
