My Mopar Intake (not really)
What's the saying, something like "Necessity is the mother of invention". Well, it's more like a poor boys intake. Since I'm not going to win a Hammer or be able to afford one right now. And since Mopar didn't make an intake for the V6'ers at that time, I decided to come up with my own. It does seem to add a little more pep to my Magnum. And, it definitely adds more growl to my dual Zoomers. So, have a look. I know the engine is dirty, but that's a project for another day.

It looks real good, Nice job! Where did you get the intake tube? I run the AirRaid which uses the stock tube & would like to dress mine up.

I'm all ears man! That looks great! How'd you do it?!

Thanks! The tube is from Chrome Intakes (ebay). It came with a Mopar blue tubing & fitting. However, the filter was red. I didn't like that color combination. So, I found a blue filter at my local AutoZone. The Mopar sticker was the finishing touch. I know there are varied opinions on intakes as far as cost vs. performance as well as where they come from. I realize its not one of the more expensive intakes, but it works for me. It has the look I wanted, & it has definitely added to the performance of my Magnum as well as to the sound of my dual Zoomers.
