My 3.5 Mag vs. Camaro and Viper (Kinda)

Well I wasn't trying to race the Viper because seriosely, come on now. It was a Viper GTS or soemthing. I thought they all were SRT-10's. Not sure what the difference is. Anyway, there was this Camaro that looked riced out driving pretty damn quick. The guy took some curve at about 100mph (Guesstimating) He was pretty far in front of me. Anyway, we hit some mild traffic and I caught up to him. I actually didn't mean to but it just happened. I don't remember what gen Camaro it was but it was the one before the last gen they had. With the tiny headlights. So I passed him and he must have heard my exhaust because he downshifted and got behind me. That is when I heard how crappy it sounded so it must have been a sixer. I figured I'd teach him a lesson since he was driving so ****y.

So on the next lane over were cars that just got off the tunrpike and low and behold there was the Viper. I had already downshifted to 2nd but it happened when the Viper was right next to me. So he thought it was towards him and he starts driving quicker. So as I said before, it was in some mild traffic and I got behind the Viper. He pulled on me of course but I had some room to floor it and left the Camaro dead in his tracks.

That's when all the weaving started which was dumb in my part since it is sooooo dangerous and puts others at risk. My adrenaline had blinded me.

At one point the Camaro and i were lined up while rolling at about 55mph. He jumped and I then floored it and again left him behind. The road was clear at that point but then came some mild traffic again and I ended up weaving around the truck in front of me and the SUV to my left and left them both behind.

    So to summarize:

SXT Mag vs. V6 Camaro I'm sure

    Magnum takes him nasty.

The Viper I won't count. If you decide it on driving skills then I took it. But if you decide on who is the stupid one that wants to take a risk, then I take that one again which is not a good thing. lol

Of course would it have been a clear road it would have been like this.

    Viper

    Magnum

    Camaro

    lol

Nice job with the Camero anyway.

I tried to play with a Mustang GT last night but there was to much traffic. I gave him a chance to get along side but he would not do it. I saw him start to make a phone call and when I passed a couple more cars I surmised he was calling the OTHER Mustang GT I caught up to. Traffic was thinning out but I was making my exit with last nights dinner in the car. I would have tried, and probably failed, against a GT with my 3.5 but it would have been a hoot anyway.

The Magnum has a soul. It has a personality, something all too lacking in the automotive transportation appliances everybody else is offering.

Well it depends on what gen. If it was the gen from around 97 we have a good chance. They have less HP but more torque. So you would have to catch him on a roll I guess.
