Question MSD ignition and coil pack for SXT?

Does anybody know if MSD makes ignition and coil pack for the 3.5s? or if its in the process or what model works best with our platform?

Unless you are planning on running nitrous getting a turbo setup or a blower, putting on a aftermarket ignition system will be pointless.

Yeah man. That signature pic of yours is too small. You might want to make it bigger.

Being that the the 3.5 uses a cop(coil on plug) setup I doubt if you will ever see any aftermarket ignition components made for this system, it would be just to expensive and would gain nothing.

I've seen a few 300Ms and Prowlers with the 3.5L using the MSD Stacker Ignition, but it only is useful for higher RPMs with engines that have been computer modified to go past the rev limiter. Folks did that with Kenne Bell Optimizer II reflashes.

dude, we're not clicking a link to see the fine pic of your ride. It's just in your sig, which makes us see an 1008x756 pic of your car with each and every post you make. if you would either remove the pic and put a link to the pic, or just resize the pic down to a more sane size for a sig that would be great.

Josh at HHP has the MSD units for that, I believe.
But unless you are running nitrous or are going to run a forced induction system... you will see very minimal gains....

i guess this is bringing it back from the dead as some call it...

but has anyone actually done this yet?

from experience, with MSD...granted its a 4 cylinder, 4-7 HP was a decent gain on a car that came stock with 115HP.

many of the benefits of the MSD come down low with the 20 degrees of spark time during each combustion cycle.

it seriously smooths out the throttle and increases come in the acceleration band and pull throughout the entire powerband.

not to offend anyone, but i;ve always seen many people "opposed" to this unless you have nitrous/boost and need the timing controls... but N/A guys can definately prosper from it as well.

with people buying 4-500$ intakes, a 4-500$ ignition upgrade will surely handle anything you throw at it in the future, including injector upgrades or injector tuning from computer adjustments.

    not to mention efficiency.

just asking questions, and going from personal experience so hopefully no one gets offended. doin my research, brah!
