    Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust

The Magnaflow web site only lists part number 16635 as a single V6 catback for the Magnum. My installer tells me that the part number 16623 is the DUAL cat back for the 300. Magnaflow customer service says this will not fit the Magnum, but I can't help wondering what the difference could possibly be? Has anyone had any experience with 16623 DUAL kit on the Magnum?????

    Ken,

I don't know about MF but my Zoomers duel exhaust is the same part # as the duel exhaust for the 300 v6.

I think the difference is that the 300 has no cutouts where as the Magnum V6 has a single cut-out. The MF 300 systems tips I believe go under the rear facia so no cutting is required. On the Magnum there already is a single cut-out so you'd have to make one on the other side. So in other words if you tried to put the 300 system on a Maggie the tips would not sit right in the cutout..they'd be to low. I'm not sure, but it's just a thought. Zoomers are the same for all LX V6's and we require cutting on the 300.

    Here's 2:

    Grand Prarie Chrysler (Alberta)

    Longue Pointe Dodge (Quebec)
    Éric Lapointe (pieces@longuepointe.com)

They order from us all the time, give them a call I'm sure they'll be glad to ship the Zoomers to you...

Thanks for the info...but there are more of us Magnum owners in Southern Ontario than Alberta and Quebec combined. Can you get Eastway, (a supporting vendor) to supply your products? Just a very viable thought!!

I have the dual magnaflow on my R/T.

It sounds really nice, actually. Somebody once told me: "It sounds like your exhaust wants to rip somebody's head off!"

I had a good laugh on that one... lol

You get what you pay for Jimsmag06. Zoomers is a great exhaust and worth the cost. When I purchased mine there was NO Canadian distributers so I had to pay large to bring it into Ontario. If I just bought a magnum today I would totally buy it from one of those places out west Canada and have it shipped here. Even thought it cost me big time I'm still glad I bought Zoomers exhaust. Its a great product and I will buy it again for my next car. Cheers Ron!

You 100% right Moondoggy! To be fair, I have heard nothing but positive things about Zoomers products. The Leading brand or Big Company exhausts, in my opinion, are way overpriced as well, from a gain standpoint. To me, the only reason the dual kits exist is that people want "The Look" or "The sound".
Blastin Bob takes care of that just fine.
I personally, would like to see some definitave dyno figures from these companies on the v6 models, before spending my hard earned cash.
Zoomers would be #1 on my list, just from what I have heard from R/T owners.

It seems that everyone has forgotten about performance.

    Moondoggy,
Did you notice any improvements, besides sound when you had yours installed?
I, as many others on this forum, value your opinion, and since I have been on this forum, you are the one person that stands out as a "No BS" tell it like it is fella!
