    K&N Filter...Less drag

I put a K&N filter on my SXT and it feels like the car doesn't drag when I take my foot off the gas. I have one on my Turbo PT Cruiser but I forgot how it gives it more pep and is supposed to help gas mileage also. Any little bit helps.
Can anyone give me any tips to increase the HP more that won't cost that much? (Can't upgrade to a Hemi)
    Thanks,
    Steve

Drag? When my cars in motion sometimes around town and I take my foot off the gas, it seems like I have to use my brakes to slow it down. And no it's not reving high or anything. Sure you don't have a dragging brake or something?

I don't think there is a problem with the brakes, the filter would not have fixed the problem. I may try putting the stock filter in to see if it feels slower again.

Actually, remove the fender stickers..lol Sorry man. But Rev. Hammer is working on an intake for us 6ers. Should have dyno proven results. In the mean time get a true dual exhaust from exhaustdepot.com.

Tell Hector, Jimmy with the blue Mag sent ya. He's located right off of Stirling and I-95.

Thanks Jimmy. I will check out his site. I think I saw you on Hiatus and Sheridan last week.

Might have been me. I'm pretty much the only Midnight blue Mag SXT with a true dual around here. Where do you live?

Ok guy's, how much HP do you think true duals add to the 3.5L?
Say BB or Zoomers or Mopar. Any hard facts?

I'm with you on this. I see dyno results on alot of models, but there doesn't seem to be anything on the 3.5L. I'm not going to do any more performance mods until I see some valid results. I saw a charger on the caharger forum with just about every performance mod that looked like this.

    235/55/17DYNO=192hp/169tq

here are his mods: Airaid CAI,Exhaust Depot dual,Jet Chip I, Eibach pro kit, toyo proxy4's

I don't have prmission to use his name, but I'm not encouraged by that!

    3.5L SE :

17"SGT aluminum alloy wheels, spectre cai, esp delete, custom dual borla catback exhaust, tint (35% up front and as dark as they get in back!)

There are no hard numbers. Get a good free flowing intake. Add good free flowing exhaust. If you go for an X pipe make sure the X is as far up towards the cats as possible. Consider getting the B&G flash to change the air/fuel curves. We've heard mixed results with the Jet Chip. There is no Super Chips for the V6's.

The only thing I know for sure that will add signicant hp is N20.

Thanks, and of course I'm patiently waiting on a supercharger or turbo kit for the 3.5. Have you seen this link?

I had not seen that. I would caution on going to a Supercharger. Many Hemis have blow up on Superchargers. The issue is with getting it tuned properly.

Do you know if it is only computer tuning that needs to be done, or are other mods needed?

I believe it's just proper tuning. The problem is DCX does not release it's code like GM does.
