Thumbs up jet chip for v6

anybody have a stage 1 jet chip?? i just put mine in on saturday. seems to run and sound differently....not sure whats really going on, it sounds a little more aggressive maybe....not sure if there is any power difference so far. i've heard that the chip needs to learn to get results, maybe it needs a few more miles to learn before i will be able to pull wheelies....lol

I liked mine. Wish I had it back.

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

I sold it to a one time forum member along with an aircharger. The combo of the two netted me about 4mpg and at least a perception of more power. I'm thinking I'll wait until I get an exhaust and then get the stage 2.

Yes, you can buy it from www.highhorseperformance.com for $238.

I'm not sure about the JET chip. I've had very bad results from my previous car. Not to bang em, but I would never buy a JET chip again.

I would seriously do some dyno comparisons. Your 'butt dyno' isn't as accurate as you may think (not to be taken as a flame). You already have the idea in your head that there's going to be a difference. If you had a Scantool, you can compare the ignition advance between stock and the JET chip.

They did do dyno tests with the Jet chip, at the last GIFO I believe. Everyone was shocked at the gains.
