    Jet chip stage II

    I have a 3.5 and looking into a stage II what is the easiest way to find out if i have the 180 deg thermostat. Also if i do not have the CAI or exhaust on yet what will happen if anything?

    If you have the severe cooling package on your window sticker then you have a 180 stat.

    The only 3.5L magnum's that have the 180 thermostats are the ones that have the severe cooling option.

    All 3.5 Chargers have the 180 degree thermostat, that's been confirmed by a few angry owners over at the Chargerforums. It's not a top-mounted t-stat on the 3.5 HO so it's not exactly an easy thing to pop out and check.

    I'm surprised to hear it's not 180 degree on all of the 300s and Magnums but it appears that Moondoggie would know what's in his and he seems to have the 3.5 and the Jet Stage II.
