    I want an engine cover...

A V-6 Engine cover, or something that we could use to dress up a bit would be nice! I saw that some people are rigging up a nissan one but i want something for my CHARGER!

No seriously though...I want to do this...have an airbrush place to do painting...but i was just wondering...what type of shop could/would i go to to have them custom make an engine cover? What materials? Anybody with customizing experience...can you help me out? I am sure I am not the only one here who wants to see something personalized when they open their hood!

I think the current 2.7 & 3.5 intake is just plain ugly the way it is off centered, not to mention making it a pain in the a** to reach the spark plugs. The LH intakes looked so much better.

Well the 3.5 intake sucks because its that curvey pipe. The 2.7 with a WR installed looks hot!
So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!

So Pig you think the 2.7 aftermarket intake looks better than the 3.5 does. Wow that is so out there. The 2.7 looks for sure horrible. I mean terrible. They both perform as good as each other thats a given. Just like the hammer one will but please the 3.5 weapon r looks so much better than the 2.7 one does!

intakes are all about looks on the v6. There is NO HP increase. You just have to decide if you want to spend a fortune or not a fortune on a intake. The hammer is very expensive and it will net you as much HP as any other intake available. Just lots of BS to make it sell. Waste of $$ for sure.

While I do agree with you that the AirHammer for the 6 maybe all hype, I am willing to give Hammer the benefit of the doubt for a while. His repuations on this forum is nothing short of outstanding and I have personally seen what his pipe did for the hemis.

And I do think CAI will yield some power. Combined with other mods it will give even more. I have proved that. But just a CAI alone will not give you any noticeable power. itll sound and look great though

anyways, back to the topic at hand.

just asking, but is there any documented proof intakes add ZERO HP increase?

i can understand a non-significant increase, but going from a more restrictive rubber tube with ridges inside, to a smoother larger volume tube is sure to gain minimal numbers. intakes are like arteries to a heart, the improve performance by decreasing flow resistance and increasing volume to the power source.
