how do you replace the bulb in your fog lights ???

Remove the belly pan under the motor (4 10mm bolts), then remove the front fascia pan directly forward of it (8 7mm bolts and four push pin connectors, IIRC) - this will allow access to the fog lamp housings. Becareful when re-install the front fascia pan that you route the radiator drain hose through the hole cut for it...

Get a bag of replacement rivets to start with. Turn wheel to lock. Pull out existing 4 plastic rivets and peel back inner fender well....stick your hand down there and twist to unlock/unscrew bulb holder....gently ease the holder and bulb towrads you, replace bulb (try not to get greasy fingerprints on it) and reverse the action. The replacement rivets push right in (try to get the Christmas Tree type ones, they hold real good.)

good job jack !!!
The plastic 'rivets' or push-pin fasteners are reusable. I've had the ones in my wife's R/T in & out probably a dozen times over the last 2 years, and they're still tight...
And goin' in from the side is cool - it'll save ya some jacking / ramping time, but I found that it was tricky getting the new ones in without thumb-printing the bulbs...![]()

Maybe I just went too "gorilla" on my rivets with a pair of Kleins but I definitely distorted the heads on a couple pulling them out. The sack of 12 replacements was only a couple of dollars...

Try using nitrile or powder-free latex gloves (ask your family Dr. for a pr.), or even the vinyl ones food handlers use. I think most fabric gloves would be too thick and clumsy. I bought some very thin cotton ones used in clean room assembly from a lab supply house. Great for this kind of work.

I don't know if it is different for a Charger to a maggie but I didn't turn the wheel, and got both hands in there. 2 10mm bolts and 3-4 plastic rivets, took me 10 minutes, mostly to see what I was going to do. I just yanked the plastic splash guard down and everything was accessible. Maybe it changed with years??
