Help...I need a lil assistance!

Ok as some of you know I have been having some misfire issues with my 2.7. I have been back and forth to the dealer and they couldn't seem to source it. The only thing that I can think of is the JETchip stage II that I am running has a problem.
My problem is that I bought my chip last year from another forum member. The emails have long been deleted and I can't remember who I bought it from. In order for Jet to look at the chip they need a receipt which I don't have. Otherwise it's a whopping 319.00 to get a new one. Can somebody send me a copy of their reciept for a Stage II 2.7/3.5 chip? Of course "X" out any personal information if applicable. I just need to have the chip checked out. Thanks.

Silly question but have you removed the jet chip and see if this solves the misfire issue?

I actually haven't, but it wasn't doing it prior to the install. When I spoke with the tech at JET, he said if the module was bad it would indeed cause a misfire. I am going to take it out tonight regardless. I might just see about switching to a SXT or RT. This fight for power is a real uphill battle.

So are there problems with these chips at all? I'm definitely interested in gettin one for my 2.7 for the lil bit of added performance, but I don't wanna "F" my engine or void any warranty. Plus, if I get a Stage II do I really have to use 91 Octane?

I tried running 89 and it ran horrible. I will be taking the chip out tonight and running it for the next couple of weeks to see. In the meantime I still need to source a receipt for the chip just in case.

I also am actively shopping for a LX with a bigger engine.
