    Had to take "her" in...

anyone had a "power steering line" problem? My wife was driving the on thursday and the engine starting smoking. She drove straight to the dealer and they said (after the engine cooled down) that the power steering line had "broke or come off". Well now I am 4 days with my "Patience" and my patienece is wearing thin, I thought I would ask here if this has happened to anyone else. MIKE

Weird, might have just been a coincidence and been loose.

A week after I bought my Dakota, I was driving down the highway when I started seeing billowing white smoke behind me and the tranny started to slip: transmission line came loose and was dripping on to the exhaust.

Reattached it, put in some fluid, and I was on my way.
"Walkin' the thin white line on this smiling road. 40 days, I've been all alone. Draggin' my heart all across this world. I got 100 miles to go before I get back to see my girl. Aint got nothing, I got nothing to lose. I keep walking away these blues. The cup is broken, but it's half full. I got 100 miles to go before I get back to see my girl."
