    How to check Coolant levels?

I borrowed a photo from this thread as its an excellent shot.

    Some Pics of My SRT8!!

I only have the 3.5 V6 but the overflow bottle looks the same. According to the owners manual there

The coolant bottle provides a quick visual method for
determining that the coolant level is adequate. With the
engine off and cold, the level of the coolant in the bottle
should be between the ranges indicated on the bottle.

    and

When additional coolant is needed to maintain the
proper level, it should be added to the coolant bottle. Do
    not overfill.

so where is the markings? Am I even looking at the right area?

Aso for the power steering it says the engine should be off but does i matter is the engine is hot or cold. ?

My new years resolution is to keep on top of my fluids. I promised myself that once a month I would check my oil, coolant, power steering and tire pressure including the spare.

On the skinny side facing the engine, there's a "MIN" and "MAX" line.

I will have to take a look today. My coolant bottle when the engine was cold looked to be at the same level as the one in the photo.
