Thumbs up Come on V6'er get out to the track and run!

I've been to the track twice now. It was a great time. I can't say enough about it.

I've run my SXT 6 times. Twice in Tucson and 4 times in Phoenix. My best time in the 1/4 mile is 15.96.

So far I'm the only SXT in the timeslip database. That makes me the fastest SXT at LXForums.com by default. Get some track time in and knock me out of first place if you can.

It's not about beating the other guy it's about besting your own personal times and getting a baseline established so you know what your mods have done. But just to ease your minds there were plenty of people in Phoenix with higher 1/4 times than me. Of my 4 runs I won 2 and lost 2. Not a big deal though.

I have to agree, besides if it were only the fastest cars out there, there would only be one car.

Do you plan on doing any mods to your engine (intake, exhaust, chip, whatever)? If so, you have to get some baseline times down to have something to compare. Plus many of us would like to know what the 1/4 mile times are for various engines. It might even be a deciding factor if someone is looking to purchase one.

Thats not a bad time for a V6. My v6 Dakota 5 speed with Intake, TB, Catback and headers only ran a 16.10. Are you stock or what kind of engine mods do you have?

Winter is upon us. No track time possible in this part of the country for at least 3-4 months.

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

OK, new best time of 15.892 at 88.630mph. Time slip database updated.
I'm getting faster. Can any of you V6 people knock me out of first place?

If I wanted a race car I'd get an early 70's Duster.
